Report: Washington Post owner flies freed reporter home on private plane
Amazon CEO and Washington Post owner Jeff Bezos used his private jet to bring home recently freed reporter Jason Rezaian, according to CNN.
“Jeff had dinner with the Rezaians Thursday evening at the Army base in Germany and then flew them back home,” a Post spokeswoman told CNN.

Rezaian was released from prison in Iran over the weekend in a prisoner swap with the United States after being locked up since July 2014. He had been in a U.S. Army hospital in Germany since his release.
“I am overjoyed to be reconnecting with my family,” he said in a statement on Friday.
“I am feeling well and plan to relax and enjoy home-cooked meals, sports, and movies with them over the next few days and weeks.”
In a statement on Wednesday, Rezaian said, “For now, I want to catch up with what’s been going on in the world, watch a Warriors game or two, and see the ‘Star Wars’ movie.”
