Trump: I would deport ‘bad hombres’

Donald Trump said at the presidential debate Wednesday that illegal immigration has resulted in lots of “bad hombres” he would kick out of the country.

{mosads}When asked to contrast his immigration plan with Democrat Hillary Clinton’s, Trump touted his hard-line approach and his signature plan for a border wall.

“We stop the drugs, we shore up the border. One of my first acts will be to get all the drug lords, all of the bad ones. We have some bad, bad people in this country that have to go out,” the GOP nominee said in Las Vegas.

“We are going to get them out, secure the border, and once the border is secure, at a later date, we will make a determination as to the rest. But we have some bad hombres here, and we are going to get them out.”

Trump started his campaign calling for a “deportation force” to help remove all 11 million people in the country illegally. But after publicly waffling, Trump shifted his rhetoric and has said he would prioritize deporting dangerous undocumented immigrants but warned that he would not grant unilateral “amnesty” to any.

Trump’s campaign manager tweeted that the comments were classic “Trump being Trump.”
