Graham on ending 2016 campaign: ‘Hell no’
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) on Tuesday said he was absolutely not ready to drop out of the race for the Republican presidential nomination.
“I have been in the military most of my life. You don’t drop out. You don’t get a pass,” Graham said during an appearance on ABC’s “The View.”
{mosads}”No, hell no, I’m not gonna drop out,” Graham added later, after recalling part of his life story and discussing the importance of Social Security.
Graham has not registered any support in the latest five national polls released this month, putting him at the bottom of the crowded GOP field.
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and former Texas Gov. Rick Perry both ended their campaigns in September, reducing the GOP field to 15 candidates.
