Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s campaign is planning to open a new office in Washington, D.C., to house its team that will select and manage delegates for the convention, according to The Associated Press.

The office, the first major senior staff expansion outside of the campaign’s operations in New York, will also be used as a hub for the campaign as it works on relations with members of Congress.

{mosads}Trump senior adviser Barry Bennett told AP he hopes to open the office as soon as next week after space is secured by the campaign.

Trump’s campaign has also tapped veteran Republican strategist Paul Manafort to lead his delegate efforts, The New York Times reported Monday.

The businessman is hoping to lock up the nomination before the party’s convention in July, while rivals Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Gov. John Kasich (Ohio) are looking to deny him the necessary delegates and force a contested convention.
