Trump: Fox News boss says they’ll treat me fairly
GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump said Monday that he has been assured by Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes that he will be treated fairly by the network.
Trump tweeted about a phone conversation he had with Ailes, which comes amid an escalating feud between Fox News and Trump in which the business mogul has attacked Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly over questions she posed during last week’s GOP debate.
Roger Ailes just called. He is a great guy & assures me that “Trump” will be treated fairly on @FoxNews. His word is always good!

Trump has blasted Kelly and Fox News since Thursday’s debate, arguing he was unfairly singled out for tough questioning.
The debate began with the 10 GOP candidates asked to raise their hand if they would not commit to backing the eventual GOP nominee for president. Only Trump raised his hand.
Kelly a short time later asked Trump if he had the temperament to be president given his comments about women.
“You’ve called women you don’t like ‘fat pigs,’ ‘dogs,’ ‘slobs’ and ‘disgusting animals,’ ” Kelly said to Trump.
Trump later characterized Kelly as “angry” and “highly overrated.”
In an interview with CNN’s Don Lemon Friday, Trump said that Kelly had “blood coming out of her eyes, blood coming out of her wherever” at the debate.
Most of the GOP field has blasted Trump for the remark, but the business mogul has refused to apologize for it, saying on Monday that Kelly should apologize to him.
