GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump is demanding that his Democratic counterpart Hillary Clinton apologize for saying the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) is using him to recruit fighters.

Trump said in a pair of tweets Monday morning that the former secretary of State “made up” the claim, insisting that “there never was a video.”

{mosads}Trump initially blasted Clinton during interviews Sunday morning, saying on NBC that “she lies like crazy about everything.”

Clinton said during the third Democratic debate Saturday that Trump “is becoming ISIS’s best recruiter,” citing his recent controversial remarks on Muslims.

“They are going to people showing videos of Donald Trump insulting Islam and Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists,” she said.

Clinton’s campaign stood by the claim on Sunday, saying a group monitoring ISIS on social media said that the militant group was using the real estate tycoon as a recruitment tool.

Trump pushed back during a television interview Monday morning when pressed whether he was opening himself up to similar criticism over his claim that thousands of people in the U.S. cheered after the World Trade Centers went down on Sept. 11, which has been widely scrutinized.

“First of all there is proof, because many people saw that happen,” Trump said on NBC’s “Today” show, adding, “I’ve been totally exonerated on that.”

Trump turned to again say that Clinton “always lies.”

“She lies about emails, she lies about Whitewater, she lies about everything,” Trump insisted.
