Donald Trump isn’t predicting victory in tonight’s Iowa caucuses.

Trump is leading polls in Iowa, but he said he couldn’t say who would win the first contest in the GOP presidential primary.

{mosads}“No, I can’t do that,” Trump said in response to a question on NBC’s “Today” show about whether he’d predict victory. “We’ve had the biggest crowds, bigger than anybody. I just don’t know. I can’t tell you that I think so.”

He told ABC’s “Good Morning America” that he likes to win and that he’s somewhat nervous about appearing before voters as a candidate for the first time.

“Well, you have to be a little bit nervous,” Trump said. “I like to win, I want to win for the country, I don’t want to win for myself.”

Trump denied during an interview Monday on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that his mission in the Hawkeye State is to “finish off” Ted Cruz, his closest challenger in the state.

“No, not to finish him off. I don’t think he’ll be finished, but he’ll be certainly hurt because he’s put everything he can into Iowa,” Trump said.

“The day has finally arrived where we begin this really incredible process, so I look forward to it,” Trump said. “It’s going to be very interesting. I just don’t know what to tell you.”
