Donald Trump’s son says the Republican presidential nominee is not moderating his position on immigration.

“He wasn’t softening on anything,” Donald Trump Jr. said in a preview of CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360” airing late Tuesday.

{mosads}“He didn’t change his stance on anything. He didn’t say, ‘Oh, my policy’s now changed.’ He didn’t say that. His policy has been the same for the last six, seven, eight months.”

Cooper then asked if Donald Trump still supports the mass deportation of everyone living in the U.S. illegally.

“He still says deport — they all gotta go?” Cooper asked.

“That’s been the same, correct,” Donald Trump Jr. responded.

Donald Trump Jr. also said his father’s immigration agenda would be implemented gradually.

“But again, you have to start with baby steps,” he said. “You have to let [Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents] do their jobs.

“You have to eliminate sanctuary cities. You have to get rid of the criminals. Certainly, first and foremost, you have to secure the border. These are common-sense things.”

Donald Trump plans to give a major speech on immigration in Arizona on Wednesday.
