Trump on adult star accuser: ‘Oh, I’m sure she’s never been grabbed before’
Donald Trump on Monday cast doubt on an adult film actress’s accusation that he kissed her without permission in 2006.
“One said, ‘He grabbed me on the arm.’ And she’s a porn star,” he told WGIR’s “New Hampshire Today,” as first reported by CNN.
{mosads}“You know, this one that came out recently, ‘He grabbed me and he grabbed me on the arm.’ Oh, I’m sure she’s never been grabbed before,” the Republican presidential nominee said, calling the accusation “all lies.”
Adult film actress Jessica Drake on Saturday said Trump kissed her without consent during a 2006 encounter at a golf tournament in Lake Tahoe.
Drake announced the allegation at a press conference alongside attorney Gloria Allred, and also claimed that Trump offered her $10,000 to enter his hotel room.
Drake is the 11th woman who has come forward to accuse the Republican presidential nominee of past sexual misconduct. The real estate tycoon has denied mounting allegations of groping or kissing women without their consent, which have piled up since a 2005 video emerged earlier this month of Trump talking about groping women without their consent.
In the Monday radio interview, Trump derided Drake as the latest example of a smear campaign designed to hurt his standing with female voters.
“These are stories that were made up,” he said of multiple women who have accused him of kissing or touching them without permission. “It’s like dripping water. I always think it’s important for me to say that it’s a lie because otherwise women in particular out there will say, ‘Oh, gee, I don’t like that he did that.’ ”
With about two weeks until Election Day, Trump accused Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign of being behind the flood of accusations.
“I think the Clinton campaign is behind it, absolutely. The Clinton campaign is behind it 100 percent. You know why? … Gloria Allred is a big deal with Clinton. She’s into that whole thing,” he said.
“You’ll find out in the years to come that these women that stood up, it’s all fiction. It will come out in the future, you watch,” he said, lamenting the short amount of time left before Election Day.
“The problem is we only have two weeks. I care because it is such a lie.”
