Meghan McCain: I voted for McMullin
Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) daughter says she voted for third-party candidate Evan McMullin for president.
Meghan McCain tweeted Thursday that she voted for McMullin, a former House GOP staffer who mounted an independent campaign in opposition to GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

{mosads}Meghan McCain has been critical of both Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton throughout the campaign, and had suggested she would vote for a third-party candidate instead.
Her father withdrew his support from Trump last month after a recording surfaced of Trump talking about groping women without their permission.
Instead, John McCain said last month, he might write in the name of his friend Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) for president.
I’m a #NeverTrump #NeverHillary person (as always). I am not going to be bullied by anyone in the last 5 days of this dumpster fire. pic.twitter.com/AWePA4feMT

Weeks into Trump’s presidential campaign, in July 2015, he drew widespread criticism for mocking McCain’s military service, sarcastically saying: “He’s a hero because he was captured? I like people that weren’t captured.”
