Social media questions why Trump missing from White House Seder photo
Twitter users on Monday criticized the White House after press secretary Sean Spicer shared a photo of the White House’s Passover Seder without President Trump in it.
“This evening, @WhiteHouse staff held a Passover Seder, marking first night of Passover,” Spicer wrote, including the photo.

Social media users questioned why the photo didn’t have Trump in it, with many noting that former President Obama attended the annual Passover Seder at the White House every year and some speculating that he did not attend.
The Hill has inquired to the White House on whether Trump attended the Seder.

{mosads}Passover is an eight-day Jewish holiday marking the end of slavery of Jews in ancient Egypt. The Seder is a dinner ritual that takes place on the first two nights of the holiday, which includes a retelling of the story of the exodus from Egypt and eating a series of symbolic foods.
Trump on Monday evening wrote a Passover message on his Twitter account.
“Happy Passover to everyone celebrating in the United States of America, Israel, and around the world. #ChagSameach,” the president wrote. “Chag sameach” is a Hebrew greeting that loosely means “happy holiday.”
