Clinton praises Megyn Kelly: She is a ‘superb journalist’

Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton on Tuesday praised Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, who has been in a feud with Clinton’s GOP rival, Donald Trump, for months.

Her comments about Kelly came up among Clinton’s wide-ranging criticism of Trump on ABC’s “The View.” She also listed off his controversial remarks questioning Sen. John McCain’s (R-Ariz.) war record and his proposal to bar Muslims from entering the U.S.

{mosads}”I think, for me, the way he’s conducted his campaign, the things he’s said — and he has insulted everybody and he has demeaned everybody,” Clinton said.

“His attitude, and what he has said about so many women, the way he treated Megyn Kelly — who is a superb journalist … I just don’t understand what he thinks is the role of somebody running for president,” Clinton said.

Kelly said during an interview broadcast Sunday that there have been threats made against her life since she questioned Trump’s past comments about women during the first GOP debate in August, which sparked their ongoing feud.

Trump knocked her “terrible show” in tweets last week after Kelly said she’d “absolutely” have Trump back on her show.
