Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan to introduce Trump
Buffalo Bills head coach Rex Ryan is slated to introduce Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump at a rally in Buffalo, N.Y., on Monday night.
The former New York Jets coach is appearing at the Trump event on the eve of the New York primary, where Trump is ahead in polls, according to reports.

While Ryan will be introducing the businessman, he stopped short Monday of fully endorsing him and referenced New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R), who has backed Trump after ending his own presidential campaign earlier this year.
{mosads}”I’m going to introduce him, that’s true. That’s a true statement,” Ryan said of Trump, according to NewYorkUpstate.com.
“But I’m not going to say who my endorsement is and all that stuff. I’ll say this, Chris Christie was my guy 100-percent because we were the lap-banded brothers. We both had that lap band and we really are pretty close,” he added.
The rally at First Niagara Center will be Trump’s last event before Tuesday’s primary in New York. Polls find him well ahead of his rivals Ted Cruz and John Kasich.
Trump attempted to purchase the Bills in 2014 but tweeted at the time that he “refused to pay a ridiculous price” for the franchise, which was sold for $1.4 billion.
