Donald Trump gave NBC anchor Lester Holt a C grade for his job moderating Monday night’s presidential debate.

{mosads}In an appearance on Fox News’s “The O’Reilly Factor” Wednesday, host Bill O’Reilly asked Trump to give Holt a grade A through F for his handling of the first debate between the real estate tycoon and former first lady Hillary Clinton.

Trump concluded that Holt earned a C in his book and said Holt went easier on the Democrat.

“When I first did it, I thought he was fine, I wasn’t thinking about it, but when I reviewed it and when I saw all of the commentary — because a lot of people thought he was terrible — and I looked at all of the commentary, I realized he was much, much tougher on me than he was on Hillary, it was like day and night,” Trump said.

Trump said he thought Holt did well the first half of the debate, but later he “badgered” the GOP nominee, bringing up his long-running “birther” theory about President Obama and contradicting him on stop-and-frisk statistics in New York City, while letting Clinton’s claims about her past support for the Trans-Pacific Partnership slide.

“To be honest with you, I think that he was fine, but I would also say in reviewing it, I was disappointed,” Trump said.

Clinton and Trump will face off again on Oct. 9 in a debate to be moderated by ABC’s Martha Raddatz and CNN’s Anderson Cooper and then again on Oct. 19, when Fox News’s Chris Wallace will referee.
