President-elect Donald Trump’s meeting with The New York Times on Tuesday is back on, hours after he abruptly canceled it via Twitter.

{mosads}Trump spokeswoman Hope Hicks told a pool reporter Tuesday morning that the president-elect would soon be departing for the paper’s office.

Hicks also told CNN that at least part of the meeting would be on the record.

The Times released a statement acknowledging that the meeting is back on as well.

“He will meet with our publisher off-the-record and that session will be followed by an on-the-record meeting with our journalists and editorial columnists,” the statement said.

Trump tore into the Times in a series of tweets early Tuesday morning, saying they “cover me inaccurately and with a nasty tone!”

In March, Trump sat down with the Times as a candidate for an off-the-record meeting.

Parts of that conversation were leaked a day later to BuzzFeed.

Times executive editor Dean Baquet said at the time that “he didn’t know who had spoken to BuzzFeed to describe the off-the-record portion of the session, and that he didn’t intend to pursue it.”

Trump has yet to hold a press conference as president-elect, a longstanding tradition.
