Notable signs from the UK protests against Trump
Hundreds of thousands of demonstrators turned out across the United Kingdom to protest President Trump’s visit this week.
The four-day trip — Trump’s first visit to the U.K. as president — largely avoided London where the president has reportedly admitted to feeling “unwelcome.”
An estimated 250,000 people took to the streets of London on Friday to protest Trump and his administration’s policies.

The next day, as Trump headed to Edinburgh, Scotland, roughly 10,000 people turned out to protest the president.
Trump is staying at his luxury Turnberry golf resort in Aberdeen, about 120 miles away from Edinburgh.
While out on the course earlier Saturday, Trump was met with protesters chanting, “No Trump, no KKK, no racist USA.”
An activist reportedly connected with Greenpeace also paraglided nearby on Friday night with a banner reading, “Trump: Well Below Par.”

The absolute worst thing about London protests are the twee placards: “make tea, not war”, “so bad even librarians are protesting” etc. Look at this selection of unspeakable tosspots, for example. pic.twitter.com/1kdPKH4WX0
