Opera singers joined a multi-day protest outside of the White House on Thursday night, singing the national anthem to try and keep President Trump awake.

Adam Parkhomenko, a former adviser to Hillary Clinton, has been organizing the “Occupy Lafayette Park” protests following Trump’s summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Opera singers Molly Pinson Simoneau and Carl Rountree stood outside the White House and sang the Star Spangled Banner on Thursday evening.

Hundreds of people came to “welcome” Trump back from Helsinki on Monday night and have returned to keep Trump from getting a good night’s sleep. The protest moves into its fifth day on Friday night.

Parkhomenko also organized an 18-person Mariachi band to play on Pennsylvania Avenue Wednesday night.

Several well-known figures have stopped by to join the protests, including Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas), actress Alyssa Milano and Stormy Daniels’s attorney, Michael Avenatti.

Parkhomenko said he’s still looking for bagpipers, tap dancers, puppeteers and a professional auctioneer “that can verbally reenact outside the White House everything important Trump is giving away to the highest bidder.”

Trump was widely criticized from both sides of the political aisle after his press conference with Putin, during which the president refused to denounce Russian interference in the 2016 election.

Trump tried to walk back his previous statements on Tuesday, saying he misspoke during the press conference.

“I accept our intelligence community’s conclusion that Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election took place,” Trump said, reading from a prepared statement.

But he also added: “Could be other people also. A lot of people out there.”

Adding to the furor, the White House said Thursday that Trump has asked his national security adviser John Bolton to invite Putin to Washington for a second summit.

Parkhomenko said that day will be the “biggest protest ever.”
