Kellyanne Conway’s husband: Omarosa claim that Trump used racial slur against me ‘absurd’

George Conway, husband of White House staffer Kellyanne Conway, said it’s not “credible” and “absurd” that a former aide to President Trump heard the president use racial slurs to refer to Conway.

The Guardian reported Friday morning a claim from former White House staffer and Apprentice star Omarosa Manigault Newman’s upcoming book that Trump, allegedly angry at the time with an article, referred to Conway, who is half-Filipino, as a “f—ing FLIP!” and “f—ing goo-goo.”

It is not clear from the report what article Trump was allegedly reacting to, but several of Conway’s tweets that appeared critical of Trump made headlines in April and June 2017.

“The allegation is not credible, and indeed is ridiculous, particularly in light of the timing of her departure from the White House—December 12, 2017. It’s absurd all around,” Conway tweeted Friday.

Manigault Newman also reportedly claims in her new book that multiple sources told her tapes exist of Trump using the N-word while he was on NBC’s “The Apprentice.” She said she never heard the president use the word herself.

“My certainty about the N-word tape and his frequent uses of that word were the top of a high mountain of truly appalling things I’d experienced with him, during the last two years in particular,” she writes in her upcoming tell-all book, according to multiple reports.

Manigault Newman has been a frequent critic of the president since her departure from the White House in January. Her book, “Unhinged,” about her time working with Trump, will be released on Tuesday.

The White House did not immediately return a request for comment to The Hill on Manigault Newman’s claims.
