President-elect Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka Trump, was pictured sitting in on a meeting between Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe on Thursday.

The meeting that took place in Trump Tower Thursday was an effort on the part of the Japanese government to build a “a relationship of trust” between the two countries, according to CNN.

{mosads}Bloomberg reporter Jennifer Epstein posted a photo of the meeting Thursday evening.
Trump has said that his children will primarily be in charge of running his business to avoid potential conflicts of interest.

However, the extent of his children’s involvement in the administration and their simultaneous roles in Trump’s business empire may not fully eliminate such concerns.

Trump’s transition team has also strongly denied the reports that he was seeking to grant his children top-level security clearances.

Trump himself called the news reports “typically false,” adding that he is not considering such a measure.

“I am not trying to get ‘top level security clearance’ for my children. This was a typically false news story,” he tweeted on Wednesday.
