Trump says he never called White House ‘a dump’

President Trump on Wednesday denied that he ever told members of his Bedminster, N.J., golf club that the White House is “a real dump.”

“I love the White House, one of the most beautiful buildings (homes) I have ever seen,” Trump tweeted. “But Fake News said I called it a dump – TOTALLY UNTRUE.”

Trump’s tweet came a day after Sports Illustrated reported that Trump had told club members that he visited the New Jersey property so frequently because the White House wasn’t up to par.
