Former FBI Director James Comey believes it is possible that President Trump is compromised by Russia.

“I think it’s possible,” Comey said when asked if the Russians “have something” on Trump.

Comey spoke during an interview with ABC News that aired Sunday night meant to promote his new book “A Higher Loyalty: Truth, Lies, and Leadership.” {mosads}

The ousted FBI chief conceded it is a “stunning” thing to say about the president, but refused to rule it out.

“It always struck me and still strikes me as unlikely, and I would have been able to say with high confidence about any other president I dealt with, but I can’t,” Comey said.

Comey led the federal probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election before he was fired by Trump last May.

He also briefed Trump on a dossier funded by the president’s political opponents that alleged the Russians have leverage on him.
