Stormy Daniels says she gets regular death threats
Adult-film star Stormy Daniels, a fixture in the news cycle this year over her claims of a 2006 affair with President Trump, said on Monday that she regularly receives death threats.
“Some days I can slip out and go about my day and I almost feel normal for a minute and then I look around and I’ve got two big bodyguards behind me,” Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, said on British talk show “Loose Women.” “Another day, I get crazy hate mail and death threats.”

“I felt like owning it and standing up and saying I’m not ashamed and I won’t be bullied,” she said.
{mosads}Daniels was scheduled to appear on reality TV show “Celebrity Big Brother” last week but pulled out last minute. She said she ultimately chose not to participate in the show, where contestants live in a house together until they are eliminated, because she was “uncomfortable spending the night in the house” without her daughter.
“I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into,” she said. “They offered me a lot of money.”
“I got word there was a development in my custody case, was very honest with my producers that I was uncomfortable spending the night in the house,” she added. “Being a mom comes first.”
She said she ultimately gave up her “entire fee and asked that it be donated to charity.”
The Guardian reported Daniels was upset that the “Celebrity Big Brother” producers built a White House–themed set in honor of her appearance.
Daniels said she believes Trump is “a man who’s in over his head.”
Daniels is currently in the midst of multiple lawsuits against the the president and his former personal attorney, Michael Cohen. She claims that Cohen gave her $130,000 in exchange for her silence about the alleged affair with Trump. She also is suing the president and Cohen for defamation.
