Time cover depicts Trump’s hair on fire to sum up his first year

Time magazine on its latest cover shows President Trump’s hair on fire to depict his first year in office.

The cover, which was designed by artist Edel Rodriguez, depicts the president screaming with his yellow hair on fire. The caption reads: “Year One.”

{mosads}Rodriguez said the flames in Trump’s hair is a reference to author Michael Wolff’s new book, “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House.”

“We used to live where the United States was a pretty steady country, and now you wake up every day and try to figure out where’s the next fire, where do we have to go, what do we have to try to contain,” Rodriguez said in an interview with Time.

“It’s sort of this president that you’re always trying to contain, like a wildfire that’s moving from one place to the other at all times.”

Rodriguez in 2016 showed then-candidate Trump in “Meltdown” and “Total Meltdown” on Time covers.

Trump sparred with Time late last year after he said the publication called him to tell him he would “probably” be their “Person of the Year.”

Time pushed back on the claim, saying editors do not typically comment on their selection until the publication is released.
