Fox News host Judge Jeanine Pirro has told Trump administration staffers that she would be interested in taking over as attorney general from Jeff Sessions, Politico reported Thursday.

Reached for a comment by The Hill, however, Pirro denied ever speaking about the position of attorney general with administration officials.

Pirro has been a vocal supporter of President Trump since his campaign, and has frequently used her show on Fox to target Sessions. She recently described him as “the most dangerous man in America.”

She was also reportedly considered during the transition as a possible nominee for the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, but senior aides persuaded Trump against the move.

A source told Politico that while Pirro is unlikely to land the job of attorney general, she and Trump often speak over the phone and Trump watches her Fox News show every week.

The Politico report said she has repeatedly told Trump aides since the election that she would like to be the attorney general, but those aides say Trump is not seriously considering her for the job.

He did reportedly offer to nominate her to a federal judgeship during an Oval Office meeting in November, Politico reported. One former official claimed to Politico that Trump was trying to flatter her more than making a sincere offer.

While Pirro initially pitched herself as attorney general during the transition, she also signaled interest in being named deputy attorney general, Politico reported.

The president has been on Pirro’s Fox News show twice since taking office and has promoted the program on Twitter.

Pirro also landed a rare interview with Trump for her upcoming book “Liars, Leakers, and Liberals: The Case Against the Anti-Trump Conspiracy.”

The Washington Post reported earlier this year that White House communication staffers make sure to have aides on Pirro’s show each week, knowing that the president is watching, in part to deter him from calling in himself.
