Hackers took over HBO’s social media accounts Wednesday night, adding to the premium cable giant’s recent woes.

Twitter and Facebook accounts for HBO and many of its shows, including “Game of Thrones,” “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver” and “Veep” briefly displayed messages from the hacker group that calls itself “OurMine.”

OurMine operates as a digital protections racket, hacking social media accounts under the guise of promoting social media security services.

{mosads}”Hi, OurMine are here, we are just testing your security, HBO team please contact us to upgrade the security,” the group wrote.

HBO has also contended with one group of hackers leaking unaired episodes of its shows after failing to negotiate a ransom to stop it, along with a second group leaking unaired episodes of “Game of Thrones” taken from the show’s Indian distribution partner.
