Trump ‘in no rush’ to release tax returns

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump says he will decide in the coming months whether to release his tax returns, pushing back on calls to release them immediately.

“My returns are extremely complex, and I’ll make a determination at the right time,” he told CNN on Wednesday evening. “I’m in no rush to do it.”

{mosads}Trump addressed the issue after 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney blasted him earlier Wednesday for not releasing his returns yet. Romney said there’s “good reason to believe that there’s a bombshell” in Trump’s returns.

But Trump responded that “nobody’s been bringing it up except for Mitt Romney, and the reason he brings it up is that he lost in the last election and lost very badly.”

Trump said he has many companies and is audited “every single year.”

“Unlike everybody else who never gets audited, I get audited every single year, which I think is unfair,” he said. “But I go through large audits, and that’s the way it is.”
