Banners made in China for President Trump’s reelection campaign could be hit by the president’s own tariffs, according to Reuters.

The news agency reported on Wednesday that “Keep America Great!” banners and “Trump 2020” flags may be among the many products hit with punitive tariffs as part of Trump’s trade dispute with China.

Reuters noted that 90,000 banners have been produced at a factory in Eastern China since March. Manager Yao Yuanyuan told the news service that she believed the large order is related to the trade war between Washington and Beijing.

“It’s closely related,” she said. “They are preparing in advance, they are taking advantage of the fact that the tariffs haven’t gone up yet, with lower prices now.”

Yao also told Reuters that her factory has been making Trump banners since the president was a candidate, pointing to low costs.

But Yao noted that Trump’s actions against China threaten his factory’s price advantage, saying that “if [Trump] continues to demand tariff increases … or if he continues to agree with those who are against China, I definitely would not be able to accept [more orders].”

“Everyone can have a patriotic heart, but this won’t improve his economy, and instead it could make us Chinese just shoot ourselves in the foot,” she added.

The statements from Yao come as tensions between China and the U.S. grow more heated. Earlier this month, Trump announced a planned additional $200 billion in tariffs on Chinese goods.

In addition, Trump has continuously lamented China’s practices in regards to trade, tweeting on Wednesday that the country is “targeting our farmers … as a way of getting me to continue allowing them to take advantage of the U.S.”

“They are being vicious in what will be their failed attempt. We were being nice – until now! China made $517 Billion on us last year.”
