French President Emmanuel Macron said in a new interview that he “never” wonders if President Trump will serve his full term.

“I never wonder that. I mean, I work with him — I work with him because both of us are very much at the service of our country on both sides,” Macron told “Fox News Sunday” when asked if he questions whether or not Trump will serve the full four years.

{mosads}Host Chris Wallace asked Macron about special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russia’s election interference and any potential ties between Trump campaign staff members and the Kremlin. Macron said he does not think Mueller’s probe is affecting Trump’s credibility on the world stage.

“Here, in this office, I’m not the one to judge and in certain way, to explain to your people what should be your president,” Macron said.

“I’m here to deal with the president of the United States. And people of the United States elected Donald Trump,” he added.

The interview aired ahead of Macron’s upcoming visit to the United States, which will be the first state visit of the Trump administration.
