Pro-Gingrich super-PAC registers with FEC

{mosads}The creation of the Winning Our Future comes days after a super-PAC for rival Mitt Romney ran an attack ad against the former Speaker. In response, Gingrich claimed that if any super-PAC “in his name” ran negative ads he would encourage his supporters to stop giving the committee money.

Gingrich already has at least one super-PAC backing him. The committee, Solutions 2012, is run out of Denver, Colo.

Winning Our Future’s website highlights Gingrich’s “track record of implementing tax cuts, reining in spending and balancing the budget.”

Burkett will run the newest political action committee out of Atlanta, Ga.

Independent expenditure committees are allowed to accept unlimited contributions, but are not allowed to coordinate with a campaign.
