Romney business Q&A interrupted by union worker

Romney started to explain why he supported the bankruptcy option when she tried to talk again, resulting in him saying: “Excuse me, it’s
my turn to talk and if you want to talk afterwards, we can talk.”

The audience start applauding and shouting their support for Romney,
and organizers ended the event. Afterward, Kushner told reporters she
didn’t get a chance to talk to the former Massachusetts governor.

Reporters tried to speak in the hotel ballroom but someone blasted the
song “Life is a Highway,” making it impossible to hear, and a person
came on the PA system telling all people to leave the room, including
“reporters doing interviews.”

Kushner and reporters then gathered in a hallway outside the event
where she explained “my hand was up” but she wasn’t called on. She
claimed the members of the chamber, who were picking the questioners,
recognized her.

“So I felt I had no choice,” she said of her decision to interrupt Romney.

“I was trying to be respectful,” she added.

UAW workers were protesting outside the Radisson Hotel where Romney’s
address with the Nashua Greater Chamber of Commerce was taking place.
