DCCC launches robo-calls on Ryan Medicare plan in 50 districts
{mosads}”A nonpartisan analysis showed that Ryan’s budget would raise health care costs for seniors by $6,400,” the DCCC robo-call says. “The Tax Policy Center also said the Ryan budget would give people making over $1 million a year an average tax break of $265,000.”
The campaign committee said the new call will target 50 Republican lawmakers and candidates in 19 states.
The National Republican Campaign Committee said the attacks won’t work, citing Medicare cuts in President Obama’s healthcare law.
“For the last two years Democrats have tried to distract from ObamaCare’s drastic cuts to Medicare and their plan to put a board of unelected bureaucrats in between seniors and their doctors. Seniors aren’t buying these scare tactics,” an NRCC spokeswoman said in a statement.
