Dems raising money off Frank’s retirement
{mosads}The chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, Frank co-authored the financial regulation bill that Republicans have used as a rallying cry for overthrowing Democratic control of the White House and Senate in 2012.
Frank noted with more than a hint of irony on Tuesday that after spending decades as one of the most liberal members of Congress, he had become a prolific fundraiser — and not just for Democrats.
“Running against me is good for your campaign warchest,” he said.
