Senate sends bill assisting exploited children to the White House

{mosads}Rep. Brett Guthrie (R-Ky.) introduced the Missing Children’s Assistance Reauthorization Act, which authorizes $40 million a year in funding for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, and strengthens the operation of the Center.

Senate passage sends the bill to President Obama’s desk for his signature.

The bill also amends the Missing Children’s Assistance Act to declare that many missing children are runaways.
