House cancels Thursday work to attend Rep. Young funeral
{mosads}Young’s 43 years in the House made him the longest-serving Republican in the history of the House. A public funeral for Young will be held Thursday afternoon in Largo, Fla.
The schedule change means the House will only be in session Tuesday and Wednesday this week. On Tuesday, members will consider up to three suspension bills, and on Wednesday, they will take up a bipartisan water resources bill.
