Office of House Historian launches Twitter account

The Office of the House Historian has launched a new Twitter feed: @USHouseHistory.

It is the official Twitter account of the History, Art & Archives of the U.S. House of Representatives.

{mosads}The feed will offer a “daily dose of the history and heritage” of the lower chamber, including what happened on this date in House history (#OTD), explore oral histories with Members and staff (#HouseOralHistory), feature artifacts from the House Collection (#HouseCollection, #Artifactoid) and House archival materials (#HouseRecords), and offer teaching tips (#TeachingTip, #HouseTeach).

There will also be trivia questions (#HouseIQ, #MapItMonday, #MysteryRep) for all the history buffs out there.
