‘Hercules’ cancels 1,851 flights

Airlines have canceled 1,851 flights and delayed 2,793 others because of the large snow storm known as Hercules that battered the East Coast on Thursday and Friday.

The delays were reported by the website FlightAware.com.

{mosads}The Friday back-up follow 2,648 canceled flights and 10,670 delays on Thursday, according to the website.

The airport with the most delays on Friday was New York’s LaGuardia Airport, where 169 flights were canceled and another 11 were delayed.

The leading airport for delays on Thursday was Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport, which had 379 cancellations and 472 delays.
