First lady shows off AARP card on birthday
First lady Michelle Obama on Friday showed off her newly minted AARP card on her 50th birthday.
The first lady tweeted out a picture of herself holding up the card, expressing excitement at joining President Obama in the “50+ club.” The president is 52 years old.

AARP is an organization that provides special products and services for those who are 50 years of age or older.
The White House is set to hold a birthday party for the first lady over the weekend. Beyoncé is expected to perform. Michelle Obama received an early birthday present by extending her stay in Hawaii after the president returned to Washington over the winter holiday.
