The federal government closed Monday, but some members of Congress were working.
Rep. Scott Tipton, (R-Colo.) top right, tweeted, “Snow in DC shuts down the city, but a few of us Coloradans were able to walk into work.”
{mosads}Others who let their followers know they were working included Rep. Tim Walberg (R-Mich.) and Sen. Heidi Heitkamp (D-N.D.), who likened the storm to “a little snow.”
Reps. Greg Walden (R-Ore.), bottom right, and Dina Titus (D-Nev.), left, posted “snowfies,” while Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) posted the snowy view from her balcony.
