GOP campaign chief: Pelosi is wrong on 2014 election

Democrats will not pick up House seats this year, according to the head of the Republican campaign committee.

National Republican Congressional Committee Chairman Greg Walden (Ore.) is countering Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) prediction late last year that Democrats will “of course” pick up seats this November.

{mosads}Walden called the 2014 mid-term election a “referendum” on President Obama’s policies.

“The economy is not better, especially for working women, younger working women, youth unemployment, minority unemployment is off the charts, poverty is up. You have all this income inequality this president is talking about. He ought to look in the mirror because it’s gotten worse under his administration, not better,” Walden said in an interview with The Hill.
