Pope Francis talks climate change

Pope Francis is pressing the need for environmental protection, or rather curbing climate change.

During the Vatican’s sustainability summit this week, he urged for safeguards against the threat of climate change.

{mosads}”We are Custodians of Creation. But when we exploit Creation we destroy the sign of God’s love for us, in destroying Creation we are saying to God: “I don’t like it! This is not good!” “So what do you like?” “I like myself!” – Here, this is sin!” he said, according to Vatican Radio.

“Safeguard Creation. Because if we destroy Creation, Creation will destroy us! Never forget this!” he added.

The Pope isn’t the only one who spoke out on the disrupting threats of climate change this week.

Pat Sajak, the host of the “Wheel of Fortune” also gave his two cents about the ongoing debate.

“I now believe global warming alarmists are unpatriotic racists,” Sajak tweeted on Wednesday.

He later sought to clarify the tweet.

“As most of you know, original Tweet was intended to parody the name-calling directed at climate skeptics. Hyperbole,” he said.
