RNC fires back on Clinton book

A briefing book the Republican National Committee released Monday provides GOP officials with talking points to strike back at Hillary Clinton’s new book.

“Bad Choices” is the name of the 47-page research document—a play off of Clinton’s memoir, Hard Choices, which hits bookstores Tuesday.

No “eye-catching achievement” at the State Department, no “signature doctrine” or “strategy, the briefing book says of Clinton’s tenure.

{mosads}She “shied away from serious diplomacy,” it adds.

Benghazi, Libya; Russia; Israel; Iran; the Arab Spring; Asia; Boko Haram and her management of the State Department are among the topics the GOP wants its surrogates to highlight.

Clinton wrote about those issues in her new book.

“Those responsible for the Benghazi attack” have not been brought to justice, the memo argues, adding that a Senate report early this year determined that the attack was “preventable.”

RNC Chairman Reince Priebus said he’s preparing his party for Clinton’s potential 2016 bid for president.

“It’s clear Hillary Clinton is testing the waters for a 2016 run for the White House but questions continue to surface about her failed record at the State Department from Benghazi to the Russian Reset and Boko Haram,” he said in a statement to CNN.

Clinton begins her national book tour this week and will be interviewed over the next few weeks by ABC News, NBC News, CBS News, CNN and Fox News.
