Majority think Clinton will win
A majority of people predict Hillary Clinton will win the Democratic nomination in 2016 if she decides to run for president, and could even win the presidency, according to a CNN/ORC International poll released Monday.
Forty-four percent said it’s very likely Clinton will clinch the nomination, and just over a third said it’s somewhat likely.
Only 21 percent of those surveyed said it’s very or somewhat unlikely for Clinton to advance to the general election.

Just over two-thirds of people said they think it’s either very or somewhat likely Clinton could win the presidency if she wins the Democratic nomination. Less than a third of people said it’s either very or somewhat unlikely she can make it to the White House.
If Clinton wins the nomination, 82 percent of Democrats, 66 percent of independents and just over half of Republicans, 51 percent, said she could win the presidency, the survey found.
Clinton is in the second week of a national book tour to promote her new memoir Hard Choices, which details the four years she spent as President Obama’s secretary of State.
The poll surveyed 1,003 adults from May 29 to June 1 with a 3 percentage point margin of error.
