Reid’s World Series prediction: Orioles vs. Nationals
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) congratulated the Washington Nationals for winning the East Division to make it to the World Series playoffs.
{mosads}Reid, an avid baseball fan, said because his home state doesn’t have a baseball team he cheers for the Nationals, which have two Nevadans on the team — Matt Williams and Bryce Harper.
He said before the Nationals played in Washington, he was a Baltimore Orioles fan.
“It would be a great World Series to have Baltimore playing the Nationals,” Reid said on the Senate floor Wednesday. “I want to wish Matt Williams and Bryce Harper and the rest of the team great luck.”
