House hearings to focus on Obama’s immigration action

Two House committees will hold hearings next Tuesday on President Obama’s executive action to delay deportations for up to five million undocumented immigrants.

Both the House Homeland Security and Judiciary Committees will meet Tuesday. Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson will testify before the House Homeland Security Committee at 9 a.m.

The hearings come as House Republicans try to coalesce around a plan to respond to the president’s executive action.
