Transportation chief heads back to Capitol Hill
Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx is heading back to Capitol Hill on Thursday, this time to convince Congress to provide direct funding for his agency.
{mosads}Foxx is in the midst of a push to convince lawmakers to boost the nation’s infrastructure spending, but he is scheduled to testify Thursday afternoon at a House Appropriations Committee hearing on the transportation department’s funding bill.
The measure, which is typically dubbed THUD, covers the departments of Transportation and Housing and Urban Development.
