Bachmann spotted filming ‘Sharknado 3’
She left Congress earlier this year, and now former Rep. Michele Bachmann appears to be spending her time battling sharks.
The Minnesota Republican was eyed Wednesday shooting a scene by the White House for the upcoming SyFy channel flick, “Sharknado 3.”

The ex-House member said the role wasn’t much of a stretch:
Bachmann was apparently playing her former self. Said while filming that she had to go vote.

“It wasn’t anything offensive, it was just fun,” Bachmann says of why she did cameo

Bachmann is joining other high-profile types with cameos in the shark- and tornado-filled made-for-TV movie. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has signed on to play the president in the latest entry of the campy disaster franchise. Republican author and commentator Ann Coulter will take on the role of vice president.
“Sharknado 3” is poised to premiere this summer.
