The Baltimore Orioles have postponed their Tuesday night game against the Chicago White Sox, as state authorities moved to prevent another night of rioting in the city.

Monday night’s game with the White Sox was also postponed.

Young people clashed with Baltimore officers on Monday, as Freddie Gray, a 25-year-old black man who sustained fatal injury to his spine while in police custody, was laid to rest. Multiple police vehicles were burned on the city’s streets, as officers were pelted with objects.

Protests over Gray’s death turned briefly violent on Saturday, causing the Orioles to keep people attending the game in the stadium until the threat had passed. People who attended that game will receive free tickets to another game this season.

Reuters reported that the mayor’s office had said close to 200 people were arrested during the Monday clashes. Fifteen police officers were reportedly injured.

The Maryland National Guard was called in to the city on Monday night, and a curfew is in place starting Tuesday.
