Jindal promises kids a dog if he wins White House
My daughter Selia cut to the chase: she wanted a puppy. I gave in, but with some conditions.

Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal’s children have an added motivation to pitch in on their dad’s new presidential campaign however they can — if he wins, they get a puppy.
Jindal made his first proclamation as a presidential candidate in a series of videos posted to his website, which show Jindal and his wife sharing the decision with his children.
{mosads}“If we move into the White House, you can have a puppy,” Jindal said in response to a question from his daughter, Selia. She and her two brothers, Slade and Shaan, cheered at the news.
But the promise had a few conditions.
“Two conditions: one, you have to take care of the puppy better than you took care of the fish or all those frogs we got you,” he said.
“The second condition, you have to behave. That means no talking back, no hitting.”
Jindal has his work cut out for him if he wants to secure the White House, and a puppy for his kids. He currently polls at about one percent in national polls and in polls of the first two early-voting states, Iowa and New Hampshire.
Shaan, the older of the boys, had an important question for his father about those long odds.
“If you don’t win, can we at least consider getting a puppy?” he asked.
The puppy trick isn’t new for presidential hopefuls. Then-Sen. Obama promised his kids, Sasha and Malia, a puppy after his election.
