Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) is rolling out endorsements from 128 celebrities who are backing his bid to overtake Hillary Clinton for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Acting stars Will Ferrell, Danny DeVito, Mark Ruffalo, Juliette Lewis, John C. Reilly, Patton Oswalt, and Margaret Cho have signed onto the list. That’s on top of musicians like Michael “Killer Mike’ Render, Jeff Tweedy, composer Hans Zimmer, and all members of the band Red Hot Chili Peppers.

{mosads}”As artists and citizens we believe it is time for government to once again represent the people and not just big money,” Adam McKay, Ferrell’s writing partner for films like “Step Brothers” and “Anchorman,” said in a statement released by the campaign.

“Bernie Sanders is the only candidate speaking against the wide spread legalized corruption that has handed our government to billionaires, large corporations and banks.”

Viral rapper Lil B, who had previously endorsed Clinton, is now lending his support to Sanders.

“Right now there is a shift of the generations. Honesty and being in touch with the common man and woman is key,” Lil B said in a statement from the campaign.

“This is where Bernie Sanders comes to mind with his essence and truth.”

The list also includes Apple Computer co-founder Steve Wozniak and Patch Adams, the famous physician immortalized in a Robin Williams movie.

The endorsements come as Sanders continues to close the gap with Clinton. He recently finished as close as 10 percent in a CNN/ORC national poll of Democrats, and has led in a few recent polls from the early primary states of Iowa and New Hampshire.
