Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a long speech excoriating members of the United Nations General Assembly for supporting the international nuclear deal with Iran, saying it “makes war more likely,” on Thursday.

Netanyahu said the response from the U.N. to Iran’s threats against Israel had been “utter silence. Deafening silence,” before staring down attendees for nearly a minute without saying a word.

“I refuse to be silent,” Netanyahu declared at the conclusion of his silent protest. “The days when the Jewish people remain passive in the face of genocidal enemies, those days are over.”
